While still in prep school, Sarah caught the acting bug from a young age. She fell in love performing when she was noticed by her drama teacher who was walking through his garden to get to the field hockey practice at the right time. Sarah was captivated by acting and decided to double major in English as well as theatre at Hamilton College. She also studied in Europe at Oxford and London during her junior year and graduated with an honorary magnacum praise. Following Hamilton was over, she enrolled in Yale Drama School. She was encouraged to learn about the arts by both of her parents. Her mother is the chairwoman of the English Department of the Convent of the Sacred Heart Greenwich CT as well as her father who is a painter. The education she received and her natural talents clearly rewarded.
