Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German film and television actress most well-known for her roles in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Born the only child to Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business at an early age. By the time she turned sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several shows on television. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went into other notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall.
