Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child from Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated films that feature the divas. Alexandra was involved in many noteworthy projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. This includes the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. Her other roles include being a jury member at both and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
